	Research Lists  The lists contained herein have been compiled by members of the Robert Kay Family Association. Please contact us if you have additions or corrections.   The Civil War Veterans list contains known Kay surname individuals who served in the Confederate States military. Most, though not all, are descendants of Robert Kay of South Carolina. The information primarily comes directly from Confederate Service cards and from Confederate Pension applications. Where noted, some or all of the information is derived from published works. The World War I Veterans list contains descendants of Robert Kay known to have served in the United States Military. The information has been submitted by members of the Robert Kay Family Association. The World War II Veterans list contains the descendants of Robert Kay known to have served in the United States Military. The information has been submitted by members of the Robert Kay Family Association. The Other Wars Veterans list contains the descendants of Robert Kay known to have served in the United States Military during a variety of conflicts. These include the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Korean conflict, the Vietnam era, and Desert Storm. The information has been submitted by members of the Robert Kay Family Association. The Texas Cemeteries page contains the known burials of Robert Kay family members in Texas, most of whom are descended from Rev. James Kay [12].  The lists were compiled by Karen Kay Esberger who descends from Francis Lemuel Kay, son of Rev. James Kay.
